Ashland Rotary Club's Grant Program

Grant Funds will be given to organizations and educational institutions that build our community and region along with helping community members through a project or program that incorporates the Rotary Club principles found in its Four-Way Test.  Priority is given to proposals that include one or more of the guiding principles found in the Rotary Club Four-Way Test:

1. Leadership

2. Relationship Building:

  • Is the project true?
  • Is it bringing fairness to all concerned?
  • Will it build goodwill and better friendships amongst the community served?
  • Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

3. Problem Solving:

  • Does this address and help an ethical issue?
  • Does this connect and build relationships amongst people with differences?

4. Partnerships:

  • Is there an element of  mentoring
  • Will this inspire or demonstrate volunteering to serve others?

Ashland Rotary Peace Fellowship Scholarships

Basic Information and How To Apply

The 2021 Rotary Peace Fellowship application is now available, and we need your help finding the next cohort of global peace and development leaders.

As an active community member you play a critical role in informing the Chequamegon Bay Communities about the Rotary Peace Centers programs.  We encourage You to  use your  professional and social contacts to find potential candidates.  Rotary and community members  can also support the program by coaching candidates through the application process and connecting them to districts that can endorse their applications, a required step in the application process.

These resources can help you and your members recruit candidates for 2021 Rotary Peace Fellowships:

  • Take the All About the Rotary Peace Fellowships course to learn about qualification requirements, eligibility restrictions, the application process, and more.
  • Send emails to your contacts with the fellowship announcement attached.
  • Use our referral form to tell us about potential candidates, and we’ll follow up with them.

Candidates have until 31 May to submit applications to their districts. Districts have until 1 July to submit endorsed applications to The Rotary Foundation.

We’re also proud to announce a new Rotary Peace Center at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda — our first peace center in Africa — as well as exciting changes to the professional development certificate program. Learn more about the certificate program and our new peace center.

Send any questions about the fellowship program to rotarypeacecenters@rotary.org. Thank you for your dedication to the Rotary Peace Centers and your help educating Rotary members and your community about the fellowships.

Sincerely,
Rotary Peace Centers
